Diagnosis: Unknown

A virus, they say

But not from where it came.

She fights for her life,

An enemy without a name.

Every day drags on,

We wait for her to wake.

No sign of getting better,

But there must be some mistake.

She is incredibly strong,

And yesterday so alive.

I believe she’ll find within her

All she needs to survive.

Now I am with her,

Reminded everyday

Of memories we have together,

And I’m hoping that she’ll stay.

  1. what a sad thing to have someone be so perfectly fine one day & then in a hospital bed the next – I wish your friend quick and painless recovery with whatever she may be battling
